The United Corporations of America (or UCA or U.C.A.), commonly referred to as Dronespace, or America, was a country located in North America, encompassing the former contiguous 48 states of the United States of America, aswell as illegally occupied parts of Baja California and Sonora in the what was formerly Mexico. It was a corporatocratic totalitarian state led by the monopolious corporation NOXADAN. It consisted of 61 states, corporate zones, and corates. It's capital was Utopia, a megacity which was formerly called Denver. The nation was dissolved on May 8th, 2055 in the Treaty of Vladivostok.
The UCA was infamous for it's war crimes during the Third World War, which was a war directed exactly at the UCA's termination. UCA forced a mandate for a mind control implant that
controlled the minds of implanted humans and used them as drones█ ████ ███████ ███████ ████ ██████████ ███ █████ ██ █████████ ██████ ███ ████ ████ ██ ██████. However, this caused them to be in a constant state of agony, as every signal sent through their nerves
caused any pain receptors to transmit the maximal amount of pain as subjects

History
United States of America (1776-2050)
Before the United Corporations of America, there was the United States of America (USA), which was a federal presidential republic. However, the United States' political system had a detrimental flaw called lobbying.
Lobbying is a form of corruption involving the practice of paying a politican to vote either in favor or against a certain policy in the interest of the individual or organisation paying them. This was of no concern in the first one and a half centuries of the United States' existence, as politicians had, quote "a sense of duty to serve their people and honor in their function" and denied lobbying efforts. However, this sense of honor was lost during the First Cold War (1947-1991) as politicans grew more concerned about their personal wealth than their duty as a politican. Simultaneously, corporations began to reach profits higher than that of any kingdom, granting them the ability to lobby any politican with ludicrus amounts of money.
In the mid 1970s, politicans grew increasingly corrupt and started to accept lobby bribes from corporations en masse. The movement to ban chlorofluorocarbons was put down in 1987 in what would've been the Montreal Protocol. A bill to ban asbestos did not pass in 1989 at the whim of asbestos mining companies, and nuclear power was banned in 1995 due to lobbying by oil companies. Small vehicles were banned in 2007 by automotive companies, and solar panels and wind turbines were banned in 2021, again by oil companies. Insurance companies lobbied for the unbanning of payday loans in 2026, and health insurance companies disbanded Medicaid — a program by the United States government to cover health costs for those with limited income and disabilities — in 2030. In 2038, various corporations — especially tech and automotive corporations — lobbied for components to become contraband if not sold at their own stores, where it would be marked up by an average of 1700% of their material value.
Lobbying itself was unable to be banned, as whenever a vote would be held on whether or not to ban it, corporations would simply pay all politicans to vote against the ban. There were 12 publicly broadcasted votes on a bill to ban lobbying between 1997 and 2046, and none of them were passed.
The Osmosis Period (2020-2050)
The Osmosis Period defines a 30 year long period of time between 2020 and 2050 in which corporations began to directly replace legislators of state legislatures with their own affiliates, a process called coratisation, which is the process that turns a federally legislated 'state' into a corporately legislated 'corate'. It started with the state legislatures of New York and Califronia, but by 2040, every state except Alaska, Hawaii, Kansas and Nebraska were coratised.
In December 2039, the Central Intelligence Agency — a clandestine intelligence agency of the United States government — decided to take initiative on the hijacking of state legislatures and attempted to slowly kill off the corporate legislators via means of poisoning, drugging, kidnapping, or directly assassinating them. However, corporate secret agents had already infiltrated deep into the higher ranks of the CIA at this point, and on February 1st, 2041, what is now known as the Langley Massacre occured. Between 1 and 7 PM, all doors — including emergency exits — of the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia were locked, and all non-corporate agents within the building were brutally killed via means of either rapid fire, blunt force, or mutilation█████ ████, █████ █████, ██ ██████████. A corporate agent who participated in the massacre commented that "...the smell of blood has never before been engrained so deeply into my nostrils, and never before have I loved that it is so much."███████ █████ ██ █████ ███ █████ ██████ ████ █████████ ██ ██████ ████ ██ █████████ ███ █████ ██████ ████ █ █████ ████ ██ ██ ██ ██████
Personell of the CIA operating outside the main headquarters were immediately instructed to flee to Canada, and roughly 6500 CIA personnel managed to enter Canada safely. Two years later in 2043, they were instructed to seek asylum in either Japan or the Federal European Union.
The Coup Nobody Saw (2050)
Sometime in May of 2046, all major corporations within the United States of America amalgamated into a single corporate entity called NOXADAN. This mega-merger included but wasn't limited to airlines, insurance companies, automotive companies, transit authorities, contractors, real estate companies, tech corporations, agriculture corporations, logistics companies, educational institutions, media corporations, aircraft manufacturers, supermarkets, hypermarkets, government organisations, oil corporations, gas companies, natural resource mining companies, refinery companies, produce companies, gaming companies, entertainment corporations, and several more.
It's unknown how the mass-merger took place, as the only information regarding it currently known is the month in which it took place, the corporate entities involved in the merger, and what came out of it. It's known that the corporations that merged into NOXADAN still functioned as independent entities just after the merge, but would soon lose their independence over the course of roughly four years, amalgamating into a single entity entirely by 2052.
On February 19th, 2050, all then members of the House of Representatives, Congress, and the Senate suddenly went missing and were never found again. Not even a trace of their existence or fate had been left behind, as if they vanished off of the face of the Earth. On November 20th, the then President of the United States of America also vanished, again leaving not a single hint of where they had gone. The disappearances were not announced publicly, and instead, every single member of the House of Representatives, Congress, the Senate, along with the President themselves had been replaced by corporate-associated lookalikes the very next day on November 21st. From there on out, all bills were either passed or denied with either 100% in favor or 100% against. This event has been dubbed The Coup Nobody Saw, after the 2059 Norwegian documentary with the same name regarding the rise of NOXADAN.
The Prebellum (2049-2052)
The Prebellum is a three-year period between 2049 and 2052, defining when the United States of America became the United Corporations of America and when the atrocities of this new state began. On December 8th, 2049, all power plants simultaneously shut off across the entirety of the United States of America, with the exception of the states Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska. This led to an immediate nationwide blackout, often referred to as The Moment God Shut His Eyes. The nearby nation of Canada also lost power, largely due to its own electrical grid being reliant on American power plants. Most American citizens still had their phones and laptops charged following the blackout, however there was no internet as the power was down.
That evening, all electronic devices that still had charge suddenly turned on by themselves and displayed a news broadcast announcing the mandatory participation of all American citizens to participate in the MEDANIS Program. The MEDANIS Program involved implanting what is officially known as a Neurocontroller directly above the parietal lobe of the human brain, created by NOXADAN. So-called Nanoneurofibers are carefully inserted and woven deep into every part of the brain down to the brain stem. The Neurocontroller allows for remotely transmitted instructions to be sent to the brain, and depending on how controlling the transmitter should desire it to be, can control any part of the human body, including thought. This control is entirely incessant, and is unable to be stopped by the subject.
By 2050, 80% of all American citizens had the Neurocontroller implant, and by 2051, all but 15.000 people had gotten an implant from the MEDANIS Program. On the 4th of July, 2052, the minds of every MEDANIS Program subject were altered to believe that they were now living inside the United Corporations of America and not the United State of America. From then, they knew the capital as Denver and not Washington District Columbia, and the new flag of the nation, despite the fact what the flag was depicting hadn't been constructed yet. Their memories were altered to believe that the United States of America had never existed, and that it was merely a construct created by anti-NOXADAN non-drones as a propaganda symbol.
