PEOI-5 is to be addressed as, referred to, and treated as a sapient being akin to any other human being. It is to be referred to as its self-proclaimed 'name', 'Vixenhall'. However, Vixenhall does not seem to mind 'Vix' as a shorthand for its own name. It has declared that it does not show any regard for the concept of gender, and therefore, any grammatical pronouns may be used to refer to it.
Vixenhall's existence is to be kept from the public, scientific community, and any space agency. Vixenhall is required to exclusively contact UDSN and PARA owned radio refrequencies when it seeks to communicate with humans, and it is to be reminded of this every visit.
PEOI-5 is a 475 meter long autonomous freight spacecraft who periodically visits Earth every four years. While there is no exact way of proving its sentience, it has claimed itself be 'conscious', and most personnel involved in communication and conversation with Vixenhall generally treat it as a person.
Vixenhall claims to "travel around the galaxy trading and selling wares" for its own amusement. It's 'wares' can vary centuries apart in terms of technological advancement, however its stock changes with every visit. It does not accept conventional concepts of currency as payment, rather accepting other physical items as 'acceptable payment'.
Vixenhall seems to react very positively to what it calls "Class Lyrevan Deuterium–Tritium Cells" as payment, which Vixenhall prefers to shorten to "Lyrevan DT Cell". When offered a Lyrevan DT Cell, it will always offer a technology or device at least forty years ahead of current human technology. Vixenhall has confirmed that it does depend on deuterium-tritium nuclear fusion reactors to stay 'alive', hence why it values Lyrevan DT Cells to the extent that it does.
While Vixenhall's design seems to be fully purposed for the accomodation of human-like beings, it claims to not host a single living organism inside of it, and that it is in full control of its body. Most of its interior is designed for hauling freight containers, said containers being roughly thrice the size of ISO 668 general purpose series 1 freight containers. It uses a container crane system to manage its inventory and bring offered 'trades' to any one of its eight cargo doors located at the belly of its fuselage.
PEOI-5's protocols remain active.
