Kronos is the sixth planet of the Sol system and one of the two only immobile planets, beside Jovia. Kronos is known for its rich rings, surrounding the planet with ice and various metals. Kronos is therefore a very important site in the mining industry.
Kronos hosts six Mobile Satellites, and they are prominent for their high welfare standards, including but not limited to Titan, Enceladus, Dione, Tethys, and Mimas.

History

In 2576 A.D., at the height of the First Metals Scarcity Crisis, Terran and Aresian engineers and experts proposed super-scaled mining operations involving Kronosin moons and ring particles. Although in violation of the Celestial Status Preservation Treaty, the first proper mining outpost was established on Dione in 2581 A.D. in accordance to the proposals.

The high amounts of ice in Kronos' rings was gathered by Aresian sponsored mining operations to aid in the Terraforming of Mars.
Throughout the 27th century, the amount of active mining outposts rose to 1.785 until 2711 A.D., when Celesto-naturists started to protest against the exploitation of Kronosian features for resources.

In 2747 A.D. their calls were finally heard as a law was passed to ban the creation, implementation, and migration of any Kronosian-based mining operators. This law would get a redraft in 2766 A.D. where upgrades to existing mining bases would also be banned. From this point on, the Kronosin mining market would become less reliable as more and more corrupt scandals would be revealed from major Kronosin mining companies trying to maintain high profit.
